Too much emphasis on large retail sites while not enough spoken of improving the quality of the already existing retail space i.e. Queens Road. Hastings needs to enhance its uniqueness and that includeds encouraging more specialized shops in the existing spaces rather than the usual chain store type retail outlets which are making every town the same.
