This area should not be designated for housing development for the following reasons (although it has current planning provision). 1) It is entirely unsuitable for development as it is, in effect, a ravine at the top of |Upper Ore Valley and would be prohibitively expensive to develop - needing a sloping causeway for access. 2) It is the wildest part of the woodland valley and should be left as animal habitat. 3) It is almost certain that it will never be developed and merely used for land speculation. 4) It seriously damages the integrity of the woodland valley.
