Contrary to objectives 1 and 3 (p14). It would destroy heritage tourism and the revenue/jobs from it. Warrior Square Station is now the main heritage tourism rail portal to the Borough contrasting with Hastings Station business hub and university. This landmark block would totally destroy the precious unique townscape of which the single storey taxi office and cafe are of great social and economic advantage. A mega block would also destroy the openness of the much used play area and take away land (site of former social club) so it could no longer be used for play area extension.
