The commercial base and 30 residential units planned for this site will be seriously detrimental to the landscape and elegant italianate station and surrounding victorian buildings. Any plans should be sympathetic to existing buildings, not out of character and dominant. Network Rail indicated they wanted 47 residential units - a 7 storey block. This is too dense and way out of character - the plan should be protecting of the character and appearance of the area.
