I support the proposal to construct the network of cycle routes as shown in the Local Plan Policies Map as the urban road system in Hastings is difficult and dangerous for cyclists and is a prime cause of many residents giving up or not starting to travel by bike. I also support policy T3 in the Local Plan and the other measures to improve sustainable travel. However, a change in the route shown on the Policies Map is considered to be required.
