I live in southwater road and have done for 10 years. I am opposing this application as it is evident from other multi-storey developments in the area that not only do they look unsightly and mismatched against the surrounding period properties they contribute towards the poor upkeep of the area with regard to litter and rubbish due to poor site management and lack of care. The area also has a bad reputation with regards to anti-social behaviour and i believe by introducing more "affordable" housing this will only make matters worse.
