Representation Summary:

The St Leonards District currently has a large quantity of potential retail and commercial floorspace in both the Central St Leonards, Bohemia and Silverhill areas. These would offer affordable and sustainable accomodation for business if brought back into use - and be a much less expensive option than a new retail development.

This objective should instead target occupancy rates of existing commercial and retail space in these areas, with a committment to fund enforcement of landlords to maintain properties and make them available for rental at realistic rates.
