For the last Borough Plan enquiry a mixed use proposal for site WSL1 now A16 was accepted by HBC and the inspector as a compromise to a wholly residential proposal for this important potential leisure destination in Hastings.
I am not convinced that the wording will be implemented such as occurred when Tibbalds presented their brief from HBC instructions as it seems HBC and its consultant cohorts still want to "Maximise" housing on this site. Is the tibbalds proposal now gathering dust on a planning shelf?
The east end of A16 is particularly suitable for a landmark building for leisure.
