Representation Summary:
There has been gross overdevelopment along the ridge which has led to a considerable reduction in the quality of life for the residents of Hastings who live there, or nearby. The new link road will greatly increase traffic and further impinge on the quality of life for the residents.
We also consider bearing in mind the fact at circa 85,000 Hastings, as indeed the whole of the British Isles, is grossly overpopulated. Councils therefore should not entertain any further development, instead concentrating on the improvement and utilisation of existing properties.
