Representation Summary:
Generally - we are the only county in Europe who do not have legal minimum size levels for our properties. Denmark 136m2 England 76m2 for 2 bedroom houses. Ceiling height should be a minimum of 8'0. Properties over 3 storeys should have lifts.
Design standards are not high enough and do not service needs. It is left to the developers to decide on materials for contruction which means low standards and cheap quality. Hastings should have a quality materials standard as Bath, Canterbury and other towns of smaller size to Hastings.
