Sense of place:
Where possible the Greenway project helps to enhance a sense of place at a local and neighbourhood level. In key deprived areas (Ore Village, Ore Valley and Castle Ward) Greenway links help bring connectivity and legibility to the existing townscape fabric. And where existing green spaces are augmented by new greenway connectivity a stronger sense of green infrastructure is created.
