Representation Summary:
All woodlands, both protected & unprotected, should be identified by an LDF proposal map & related policies should protect them from development to ensure there is no loss of woodland habitat. This is in accordance with PPS 9 paragraph 10.
Natural England would advise a policy protecting ancient woodland should be included in the Core Strategy.
