We are concerned that the critical success factor for this objective mentions improving opportunites for informal recreation of Hastings Country Park. Hastings Country Park is a SSSI & in part a Special Area of Conservation. It is currently suffering from footpath erosion partially due to visitor pressure. Existing numbers of visitors need to be addressed & access managed before aspirations to increase visitor numbers are considered.
More detailed maps illustrating cycle routes should be provided because of potential impacts on the SAC/SSSI
