I believe that the Council must recognise the importance of woodland and other open spaces, for both human and ecological reasons. Less woodland in urban areas means poorer drainage of existing housing estates - greater risk of environmental pollution and many other problems including mental depression of existing residents.

I oppose any development that threatens kids' enjoyment of an increasingly rare natural environment. Please leave this lovely green space alone. It is a haven for wildlife and for children to explore, people to walk dogs away from cars. Any housing development here will cause problems with traffic into Victoria Ave. Just don't do it!
