I have lived in Victoria Avenue all my life - I am 74. I am all for things being improved, but the amount of vandalism in Victoria Avenue is very disgraceful. Police have been involved, railings which were there in Victorian Times were stolen. So I can't see it remaining as picturesque as you explained. The vandalism is still ongoing with nothing being solved.

I have lived here since I was a child; I was born here and I feel it should be left wild and beautiful with all the wildlife intact for the people of Ore Village to carry on enjoying. The Councils are too fond of taking away our green areas just for power and greed. They don't listen to the residents ever.

With no other green walking etc space within reasonable walking distance this area is essential for the general good health and welfare of local residents.

The area is teaming with wildlife - the dawn chorus is fantastic - without this area being left as a green open space this valuable and essential area will disappear along with the wildlife.

Better use should be made of existing empty housing/empty factories/shop etc all of which can be efficiently upgraded for housing.

I have lived here since 1974 and over look the valley and do not want high rise blocks of flats built on it. With the constant noise of pile driving if they do build. There is knot weed there and that has to be taken away. We have a Councillor pushing for planning permission for flats. The same Councillor who wanted a new library built costing £6 million. This valley should be preserved as open space and a place for peace and quiet.

I oppose this site being developed as the only possible access would be from Old London Road, which would mean another and dangerous road junction with the very busy A259. There are small local businesses (workshops)adj to the site whjich would need relocating -there is little scope for this in Ore Village.

I also object to it being considered for development along with site A01 and reiterate the comments made under that reference.
