This area should not be designated for housing development for the following reasons. 1) Road access to the very busy and dangerous Old London Road (a trunk road) would be unacceptably hazardous and could not be made safe. 2) This area should be designated as Local Green Space along with the area already included in this designation, to preserve the integrity of the woodland. 3) This area should be returned to use for food growing as it was originally an allotment area.
