Too prescriptive to set minimum unit sizes, which interestingly far exceed those required by HQI's referenced at 2.17. Forcing developers to provide larger units will simply drive up the sales price of properties, making them even more out of the price reach of purchasers. Private purchasers are not forced to buy a particular home and as such should have the option to pay less for smaller properties if they so wish. The constraints of a site may dictate the need for smaller units. No mention of the impact of poor "useability" of large units, unit size does not guarantee comfort.
