I am concerned that:
1) the Italianate wing could be demolished;
2) the Convent and its grounds, which make an important contribution to the townscape of this deprived area, might be irrevocably destroyed by development;
3) that the open space should become accessible to the local residents and not carved up for economic gain by the developer.
The social health of the immediate area - that means peoples' daily needs - is far more important to our community than the economic imperative of the developers, and should be the Council's priority.
Thank you for your consideration.
