Representation Summary:

These ancient woodlands are an important amenity asset to the residents of Hollington and received local nature reserve status in 2004.The borough ecologist has stated that if any development should take place on this site the woodlands would be fragmented and the wildlife compromised. The only way for this site to be developed would be for all the wildlife to be removed which is unacceptable. This site is their natural habitat and has been for many decades. This site must be removed from the Local Development Plan.It would be an environmental disaster if any development were to proceed on this biodiverse meadow.
