A 1979 previously approved plan, which was never implement, has been 'amended'taking away many of the stipulated requirements under that approval. Under the old scheme one space per dwelling was considered acceptable, under the 'amended' scheme, taking current standards into consideration, there are only 6 car parking spaces for 8 properties and no provision for disabled residents. 8 bycle sheds are to be provided for the use of the residents who after cycling to the properties and then climbing over 40 steps to get to the sheds will be half dead - and that is considered good planning.
