MM1 - deletion of site at Upper Wilting Farm (FB12)
Representation ID: 9704
Received: 20/03/2015
MM1 (FB12) is I believe in Rother District although owned by Hastings Council and is part of the Flood Plain area, also it borders or is part of the Combe Haven Valley Triple SI site. There are in fact very excellent sites for Wind Generating Power in Hastings all of which would work to the Boroughs advantage.

MM2 - Former Convent of holy Child Jesus
Representation ID: 9705
Received: 20/03/2015
The site at Magdalen Road recently owned by a language school. The Holm Oak Grove is part of the bats foraging area. The acorn harvest is enjoyed by the resident badger clan; Birds and badgers forage in the life litter for worms and beetles the trees are important in the nesting season, with many Protected Species of wildlife foraging across the meadow including native reptiles. The wrong type of development will yield no lasting economic value to our unique seaside town.

The Inspector is correct in reminding the Planning Team that quality and design are the most important principles for Planners similar to our victorian predecessors, and set features like Burton's designs.

MM4 - deletion of proposed allocation at Harrow Lane (LRA2)
Representation ID: 9707
Received: 20/03/2015
The Inspector is correct in stating that this area of open land will be and is required to be left as the future requirement for more recreation facilities will be needed as the town's static population grows. This area is also home to badgers and the meadow is part of their foraging habitat. Likewise native reptiles reside in the hedge lines where the local birds nest.

MM5 - deletion of proposed allocation of land at Robsack A, Church wood Drive (GH1)
Representation ID: 9708
Received: 20/03/2015
The whole of Robsack is a continuation south of Church Wood. The two ponds are the breeding ponds for our three species of native newts all protected by law with special emphasis on crested newts. They spend between six and seven months away from the breeding ponds in lumps of leaf litter or under rotting branches which makes the Scrub Meadow important foraging area for the large social group of Badgers. A large main sett is just to north of the area under question, already part of Church Wood Nature Reserve.

MM6 - addition to proposed allocation of land adjacent to Sandrock Park (SH1)
Representation ID: 9709
Received: 20/03/2015
Sandrock Hall Estate is adjacent to the St Helens Park Nature Reserve with a very large badger sett in the eastern section wooded area of the estate some ten years ago we enjoyed visiting member's gardens here and saw numbers of native reptiles on our various visits. Wildlife are very much resident in this locality and should be catered for correctly.

MM8 - deletion of proposed allocation of land at Victoria Avenue (CVO1)
Representation ID: 9711
Received: 20/03/2015
The area designated as CVO1 is a little confusing as is on its own not two hectares in size, to comply with all the surrounding Housing development needs and to comply with the 300m criterion. Because of the dense surrounding developments with yet more being built populations of wild animals have found the valley their last safe refuge, the Ore Stream is still a source of fresh water and valuable breeding ground for our protected native newts and amphibians. The necessary arrangements for long term survival, safe foraging areas and hibernation sites must be allowed for.

MM9 - deletion of proposed allocation of land at Rear of Old London Road (CVO3)
Representation ID: 9712
Received: 20/03/2015
The land behind Old London Road east between Ashburnham Road and Old London Road is this the allotment land that Mr Hollox is referring to? It used to be nurtured by the Railwaymen in past times. As allotment land it is very good and there is a shortage of allotment land and the waiting lists will grow as the Town population grows. I feel that the Inspector has not given proper attention to this area of land with its unique history.

I do not understand why the document I have presented with the four copies as requested and as a consequence I do not see any mention of the very serious flood issues that I covered. Please l am due a full correct answer since I wrote the document I have found further complications, one being ground water problems generated by the Link Road and the new proposed Link between the Link Road and the A21.
