A huge amount of material will be needed to be dumped on site. No works planned for landscaping, and no flooding study supplied. Sewer system unsuitable for the proposed housing and significant risk of pollution reaching the waterways of Alexandra Park. There is no justification for building while allowing partially developed land to remain derelict

The Victorian sewer system in the vicinity has already failed twice in recent days and is completely unsuitable for the proposed housing development adjacent to Victoria Avenue. It would be prohibitively expensive to replace it in order to cope with the proposed housing and there would be significant risk of pollution from the proposed housing reaching the waterways of Alexandra Park. There can be no justification for building on this unique nature reserve while allowing partially developed land to remain derelict

I feel Speckled Woods should be preserved for the recreation of local residents. Speckled Woods should be used as an area to educate our children and help them reconnect with nature. As such I believe that Speckled Woods should be removed from any future plans for development (contained in the Development Management Plans) and be given protected status. There would be uproar if the Council allowed Alexandra Park to be built upon, so please do not build on our community's equivalent.

Parking will be crowded and the woodland is a beautiful area full of wildlife which will be a shame if lost. I disagree with the idea of the woodland being built on and the wildlife habitat disturbed. The woodland is a big a part of me as I've grown up with it, and enjoyed many occasions in all seasons. All the effort by the Princes Trust to clear the woodland and restore it to it's natural state, would be lost.
