Stagecoach seem to put their oldest large buses in Hastings. Can we have some newer ones please and ones that are accessible for all, i.e. no steep steps to get on and off.

We need more direct buses along the seafront, to link all parts, from beyond Combe Haven right through to the Old Town. This is not about the Bexhill Road bus corridor, but the need to be able to travel from one end of the Borough to the other.

Stagecoach is the principle bus operator in the Hastings area. They consider that they will be able to accommodate the greater demand arising from the potential 3,516 dwellings through incremental growth, such as the provision of larger vehicles&increased frequencies. However, most new developments do require some level of revenue funding for bus services to ensure that a level of service sufficient to attract new residents before the site is fully developed. It will be the responsibility of the borough planning authroity to ensure an appropriate level of development contributions to implement bus services to support access to new housing development.

More investment required in bus services in and around the town, especially if there is to be an increase in housing in the area.

Lack of late buses from the Conquest, Ashdown House into town. There are few if any buses after visiting time ends. While many staff both at the Conquest and Ashdown House leave work after 8pm.
