A building of this proposed scale and magnitude will not sustain and enhance the setting of the conservation area. This building must not be as large as proposed. It should compliment the Station and surrounding Victorian architecture both in scale and style. Furthermore the increase in population in an already densely populated area is likely to lead to social, parking and congestion problems.
