This site has been controversial and was to be developed at an extremely high density. Was recommended by the Planners turned down by Council. Went to appeal and the huge density of high rise flats was rejected by the Inspector.

A huge effort by residents overcame previous Borough Planners recommendation. Eventually a new proposal, fully consulted with local residents was approved. The details of this should be shown under MBL1. Types & numbers new, existing etc.
