Representation Summary:

The area for housing in the DMP includes land East of the Horntye Park access road, where there is a Grade11 Ice House and car parking. I though the HP Trustees planning application did not include this land. There needs to be proper access to the Ice House, and parking for visitors on Heritage Open Days and other occasions when visitors come from far and wide and find it hard enough to find already.

Representation Summary:

The contentious and overdeveloped proposal HS/FA/11/00334 was passed by the Planning Committee upon the recommendation of the Borough Planning Officer at the time. This application has now lapsed. One of the reasons given for the project was to enable the Cricket Club to be viable after the sale of the site. There are reports of the current difficulties of the Cricket Club?

Any new application must comply with the National Planning Policy Framework, the Local Plan and National Policies.
