The whole of the Bathing Pool site should be for leisure use, and flats do not count as fitting in with neighbouring homes. 100 is far too high an allocation for the small area at the west end of the site, which has never been used for public leisure. West St Leonards is short of public open spaces, and needs tourism, the DMP says.
