There is no dispute that the Bexhill-Hastings Link Road will result in much higher levels of traffic along The Ridge. A development of this size at this location will only add to increased levels of traffic congestion and air pollution (of particular relevance to many suffering from asthma). Many people do not trust the "promise" of a "Transport Assessment and Travel Plan" as such "assessments" invariably result in conclusions agreeable to planners and developers rather than in the interests of the general public.
