Hurst Court The Ridge was included in the Local Plan 2004 on the basis that the owners enter into a planning agreement to secure the conversion of the exisitng victorian stone built to provide dwelling units.
The owners did not do this and demolished a unique historic asset. This was in conjunction with the previous Chief Planner and the failure of Hastings Borough Council to act to prevent its demolition.
Therefore this is not a development site.
