Representation Summary:

What manner of planning officer agrees that it is appropriate to remove all wildife from a site which sits directly in the centre of a local nature reserve and two ancient woodlands? This is planning lunacy. There is no justification in removing these protected species in order to erect multi storey flats. This is an inappropriate site for residential development. The woodlands would not survive the detritus that accompanies developments of this nature.Cars, refuse bins, children playing in an unsafe environment.Bonfires/fireworks.The whole ethos of this development is flawed and unsound. These ancient woodlands and wildlife would not survive.

Representation Summary:

Here yet again we see the planners attempts to downgrade the importance of this ancient woodland. The woodland has a connecting strip of ancient woodland which connectw the two woodlands thus forming a wildlife corridor. The loss of ANY SECTION of this link will break the wildife corridor. To say there would be no loss of amenity is not true. These ancient woodlands have taken centuries to reach their current quality and quantity and to say that any of this woodland is low value is a disgraceful statment for any planning officer to permit within this consultation document.

Representation Summary:

This section discusses the road access and the importance of maintaining wildlife corridors, what is doesn't highlight is that the new road access is set with feet (if not on top of) an existing badger set, it also doesnt highlight that the identified badger paths and foraging site will be built upon as they are located directly under where the new blocks of flats are planned.

Representation Summary:

This site should never be developed:this site is a habitat to many protected species of wildlife and important flora.Any development will destroy the connecting wildlife corridor and fragment the ancient woodlands.I have lived in this road for 24 years and in common with other longstanding residents was always given to understand that due to the importance of these woodlands and habitat no development would ever be permitted.A planning application was refused in 1999 due to the borough ecologists report. His report is even more relevant today because the biodiversity on this site has significantly increased.
