Historic environment comment - Option C would be preferable to limit impcats to any potential below ground remains

This option would best address the biodiversity duty under the NERC Act (s40) as wellas policies for the protection and enhancement of biodiversity and ecological networks in the NPPF (including paragraphs 74, 109, 114, 117 and 118). Woodland is a priority habitat under the UK BAP.
The site has potential to be designated as a Local Green Space (NPPF para 76).

Strong objection to inclusion of land to be protected as green space. Part of site has residential planning permission under HS/FA/10/00719.
The rest of the valley has historically been designated as an area for housing. Therefore I do not support the proposed plan.
I write with reference to the potential site allocation at Upper Ore Valley and to the suggested protected green space.
Part of the site proposed to be protected as green space has already been granted planning permission for residential development: Application number HS/FA/10/00719. Therefore I strongly object to the inclusion of this part in the proposed plan.
With regard to the rest of the valley it is my understanding that this area has historically been designated as an area for housing. Therefore I do not support the proposed plan.
