I support St Leonards Primary Area - but you might find the horse has long since left the stable - just go and count up the current proportion of food outlets [take-aways, cafes, pubs] estate agents, and banks/building societies. It is difficult to see how the proposed growth of cafes and restaurants [Focus area 7,para 2.65] can be achieved without breaching the suggested proportion of 60% A1 uses. If you could frame a policy limiting the number of mini-marts, alcohol retailers or barber/hairdressers, that would be very useful.
