This says 'Design and layout should be sympathetic to the surroundings'; 2.55 says 'There are a limited number of shops and community facilities here' and 2.56 gives the overall density at just under 39 pph. This means that this area does not meet the criteria of Policy H1 which recommends over 40dph 'in sustainable locations close to a good range of existing or potential services and facilities' In 2008, the Archery Ground as part of South St Leonards Area was considered under Central St Leonards, but in any system that is patently wrong; Policy FA4 [a] should be rectified
