Refers to West Marina development. Aspirations for a re-opened railway station here have surfaced many times in official documents over the years (e.g. ESCC LTP1, 2000). Increased bus frequencies are also talked about regularly. The proposals for development should have triggered a fresh look at this. Your relationship with ESCC (the transport authority) has weakened in recent years but we suggest that dialogue and collaboration are essential in such closely related policy areas such as planning and transport.
