Reference to 'Baldslow link', even though funding for this has been cancelled by ESCC, no further planning permissions are being sought and some of the land adjacent to the Ridge West Industrial Estate that would be used for such a link is actively being considered for other development. This link IS crucial but I personally think that continuing to mention it is just part of the 'smoke and mirrors' being used to convince local people that the Link Road is a good thing - if they realised the chaos it will cause at junction road they might think differently!

There is mention of the traffic reduction that will follow the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road in Bulverhythe and Filsham (2.34). There should consequently, for the sake of balance, be an acknowledgement in 2.9 that traffic levels on the Ridge will grow significantly (+25% - ESCC).
