2.38 Jerwood Gallery is not a good example of 'how regeneration can be well combined with new cultural offerings and make the most of a seaside location.' It's in the wrong place. The coach park at The Stade served Hastings Old Town, bringing day-trippers and money. Coaches parked at The Stade. Now, people disembark at the Old Town and coaches drive west to Falaise Road to park, or further, to Seaside Road, Grosvenor Crescent. It's created congestion, it's costly and it's polluting. It makes no sense. What's the point? Black cabs bring disadvantaged children for a day out, it's mayhem.
