I support this brownfield site for housing development, preferably social housing.

As in 2004 on a regeneration scheme the then 1066 Housing Association decamped 28 families from the maisonettes in the Cheviots and 56 families from the Cotswold Close on false promises, the estate (Broomsgrove) was eventually taken over by Amicu Horizon Housing Association and the said land/sites were put up for sale twice and for auction twice. This land should be prioritised for immediate housing.

Can I suggest some housing urgency on the site B08 before it becomes a "Dale Farm."

Social housing destroyed and should be replaced urgently

The building of flats on this land would not be a good idea for the following reasons:

It's the only land around this densely populated community that people can easily take their pets for a walk without having to get into their cars.

It's the only area locally where children can find recreation without their parents taking them somewhere in the car.

More building on this land would also devalue the properties that had been sold off to the private sector.

I think that planting trees and shrubs and the instillation of dog poop bins would be a good idea.

In conjunction with other sites in Planning Focus Areas 1; 4 and 11 development is for a possible 972 residential units, with approx 258 residential units being on the Ridge. That is a considerable number of extra cars accessing and exiting a very busy road. My concerns are the amount of units being proposed and the continued approval for back garden developments.
