This is a massive overdevelopment in an area that is already one of the most densely populated in the country. 125 dwelling units per hectare is central London levels of housing density.

I am concerned at the reduced content of the new Strategy compared with the 2004 Plan especially with regard to Sports & Recreation.
I believe there to be a conflict with regard to open sports space and housing development at Horntye for example.
Overall I wish to see more content in the new strategy to encourage sports of all typs and for all ages espevciaslly for the more mature residents where keeping us active will reduce caring costs and facilities needs.
I wish to see the replacement of bowls facilities quoted in the 2004 plan included in the new strategy.

The high-density nature of this proposed development (109 units) is just plain ridiculous. The influx of so many people would create pressures on already over-stretched public services (health, education etc.) as well as generating huge amounts of traffic/air pollution in an already busy area.

CO4 Horntye. - This is an over development of a site that was originally intended for sport & recreation and the number of units and buildings allowed should be reduced. The listed Ice House in the car park should be protected so that public access is allowed at all times.

support residential use but 109 is over-development as this number would preclude a sensitive relationship between landscape and built form.

Horntye - unsuitable flatted development of high density was not allocated in April 2004 Local Plan. Another dreadful development approved by the planning department.
