Representation Summary:

Splitting the guidance into separate policies, would allow different types of tourism facilities and accommodation to be dealt with individually in their own policy context rather than one "catch all" policy. Holiday Parks are the largest provider of rural tourism bedspaces, providing a valuable source of local employment and work for local service industries, they sustain local businesses, make a valuable contribution to environmental sustainability and have a substantial positive impact on the local economy. They play an important role in defining tourism destinations, often being the key to the economic viability of other businesses. This requires a separate policy.

This is another area that has not been properly formulated and must be re- consulted if you want to change existing policies to one overarching policy. I support Option 2 -to keep the existing policies.
