Development Management Plan Consultation Document 3rd February - 27th April 2012

Representation ID: 2527

Received: 26/04/2012

Representation Summary:

I think that the guidance should be split into separate policies as each aspect of amenity is important in its own right, not only for the tenants of the proposed properties, but for the existing residents these developments may adversely affect. With the lack of suitable sites, more and more developments are being proposed that are right on the doorstep of existing properties which affect their daylight and privacy. Surely it is up to the case officer to ensure that the policies are covered when accepting an application, it is their job to go through the submitted evidence.
