You are living in an ideal world if you think that approving developments without sufficient car parking spaces in favour of bycle sheds is going to provide for a better environment. Most families have the provision of at least one car, which they need to park. Not providing enough car parking spaces will not make residents favour public transport, or the use of a bike; they will just park on the road, causing more congestion. If there are accepted standards then they should be adhered to and not altered to suit the developer's needs.

Hastings has too much traffic, the Ridge area mainly. Not enough infrastructure, roads not adequate

Bexhill/Hastings Link Road. The Plan should consider how this road will change traffic patterns within and through Hastings. Our concern is that more traffic may be directed onto the Ridge which is already congested and that this will lead to more traffic using Chowns Hill/Ivyhouse Lane as an alternative route causing problems as already mentioned
