Homes, Shops: We have plenty of empty homes, shops already and a large number are in need of repair, updating needed.

Housing - we strongly feel that the target figure needs to be re considered given that there are now no nationally pre set targets to meet. We would suggest that the town is big enough and when all empty properties were brought back into use the need for new build would be substantially reduced. We would wish to see the empty homes figures used as part of the housing target.
There should be a policy dealing with conversion of garden sheds to dwelling, preferably discouraging this practice.
