Within the IDS, it is recommended that an example/description is included as to what is required within each column, (see Eastbourne's IDP as an example). This is helpful, not only to the reader, but helps in identifying what information is required under which column, and avoids duplication.

Under scheme dependencies within the IDS, it is felt not to be helpful to just refer to general objectives in the Core Strategy. It should describe how critical the scheme is to delivery of proposed growth, whether the scheme links with others and needs to precede development of other infrastructure.

Amendments to IDP table required, along with a number of schemes that seem to be missing from the table, the following need to be included:

Insert - The Ridge Junction Improvements - Junction improvements on The Ridge including at junctions with Queensway and Harrow Lane following contruction of the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road. See paper rep for full details of new table content.

Insert - Hastings QBP - through this partnership deliver bus priority measures/lanes on approaches to key junctions and infrastructure to implement 'Real Time Passenger Information'. See paper rep for full details of new table content.

Does not include water and wastewater infrastructure and has not taken account of work already undertaken by Southern Water in assessing capacity of housing sites in the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment.

Propose 3 new schemes be added to the schedule: Universal water metering, Local sewerage infrastructure and Local water distribution infrastructure - see paper rep for full details.
