Representation Summary:

Encourage fuller use of Warrior Square station by provision of full-time manned ticket office facilities, as are provided at Hastings station. The ticket machine is inadequate, and paying on the train can be awkward. Many local residents go to Hastings station instead to avoid this problem.

Reference should be made to a potential station at Wilting.

No proposals in place to alleviate detrimental implications from proposed cut in services from Hastings to London, this needs referencing in the Core Strategy.

ESCC have been liaising with Network Rail about potential capacity improvements for the Ashford - Hastings line. These will strengthen case for freight transportation.

Add Willingdon Chord to rail schemes
