Yet again the council promises to maintain and protect the green infrastructure in Hastings - there is little evidence of this - green spaces being sold off, developments in the middle of ancient woodlands, nature reserves, wildlife and woodland at risk - all these comments and promises would be good news if the council didn't renege on all this - false promises falling on sceptical ears...we have heard it all before and have no faith in these promises anymore...

Green Infrastructure: Submitted OK!

Because of its linear-park like connective links the Greenway project can help with urban biodiversity. Part of the Greenway agenda (where possible) includes new Hedgerow Planting, and new aquatic habitats. Community aspirations for the protection and management of Speckled Wood aim to develop this neglected urban green space as essential green infrastructure
