We would request that HBC investigate the resiting of the Salvation Army on St Andrews Square & the readoption of this site as a central park/play area providing green space that is currenly lacking within 600m. of the local area.

It is suggested that the adventure playground should also be referred to in the section on Sports and Leisure Facilities.
The council's continued support, financial and otherwise, for the adventure playground is valued and is important to its viability.

The playground by Warrior Square Station should be extended onto the land that was occupied by the BR Social Club. This should be a special area for toddlers and their carers. This is important as many deprived and gardenless families live nearby and the existing playground is much too small to provide adequately for all ages.
Totally unwanted shops and flats to replace the wonderful art deco Alpha Cafe and Taxi office would overshadow the too small playground. If building must take place do something people actually want-modest public toilet to serve the station, Kings Road. And the playground.
