The updated 'Shared approach to future prosperity' could usefully provide a context for the Spatial Strategy. It is assumed that this is not included in the consultation as it has not materially changed.

It is noted that the employment allocation at Ivyhouse Lane is longstanding, and a review of deliverability will be expected in line with PPS4. It is suggested that this be undertaken as part of a comprehensive assessment of the most appropriate uses of the land east of Ivyhouse Lane and extending across the valley to Rock Lane (including landscape enhancement and public access) by our Authorities working together.

These sites are needed but not at the expense of our beautiful natural countryside - Those already built are not occupied smaller units may be needed.

A detailed calculation is needed on Areas 1-12 to show where development will occur.

If as predicted the Link Road is not built there are very few large building sites available, therefore the area proposals will need a re-assessment.

I prefer planning in accordance with statement "Levels of growth should reflect environmental and infrastructure constraints", there needs to be an embargo on flats (35% flats built compared to 19% nationally).
