Over the past decades Hollington has witnessed the erosion of vast stretches on green space - the ancient woodlands of Churchwood and Robsack are struggling to survive with so much development built right up to the boundaries of these woodlands....the borough ecologist reported in 1998 that further development would compromise the woodlands and wildlife - was his advice heeded? No it was not and these woodlands now face further degradation and devastation. No more buildings should be built anywhere in this area..any sites ear marked for development should be removed from the old Development Plan.
