How can this council say they are going to support the network of green spaces and local nature reserves when they endeavoured to get planning consent to build five storey blocks of flats in the middle of a local nature reserve surrounded by ancient woodland? This needs some answers. Conservation? More like devastation.

We believe that you have no intention of honouring this policy it is all done to pretend you care. We are pleased that you intend to monitor the affects of mitigation strategies. However, the historical evidence of your behaviour shows that all this is notional. We ask you to incorpoarate Robsack Meadow in the Church and Robsack Wood LNR.

This sounds like an excuse - damage is avoidable - just do not build on these sites. Maybe the new homes target is too high if these areas have to be included.
