Inspector's Preliminary Findings on HBC Development Management Plan (ID/9)

Representation ID: 9708

Received: 20/03/2015

Representation Summary:

The whole of Robsack is a continuation south of Church Wood. The two ponds are the breeding ponds for our three species of native newts all protected by law with special emphasis on crested newts. They spend between six and seven months away from the breeding ponds in lumps of leaf litter or under rotting branches which makes the Scrub Meadow important foraging area for the large social group of Badgers. A large main sett is just to north of the area under question, already part of Church Wood Nature Reserve.
